— Mechanism 01 / Compression —

Graduated compression supports vascular flow.

Compression at calibrated pressure (15-20 mmHg) supports venous return and helps reduce the localised oedema that often accompanies peripheral neuropathy. The principle is well-established in vascular medicine and lower-limb wear.

The difference here: the compression is graduated — strongest at the distal point, gradually decreasing — and the pressure profile is tuned to the specific anatomical distribution of small-fibre nerves rather than the cardiovascular vessels alone.

Micro-textured fabric engages tactile receptors.

Continuous low-level tactile input — what neuroscience literature calls mechanoreceptor activation — gives the nervous system a steady signal that can occupy attention pathways otherwise dominated by neuropathic discomfort. This principle underlies why people instinctively rub a hurt area: it works at the gate-control level.

Our fabric uses a precisely calibrated micro-texture rather than a vibration motor (which is heavy, battery-dependent, and unwearable for hours). The texture stays consistent across washes for over 100 cycles.

Temperature stability matters.

Cold extremities are a hallmark of many neuropathy patterns, and temperature fluctuations frequently aggravate discomfort. Our thermo-regulating fabric — a blend of phase-change materials in a breathable knit — keeps the skin surface within a comfort band even as ambient temperature varies.

This is not heating in the active sense. It is passive stabilisation, like the temperature buffer in a good sleeping bag, but engineered for all-day wear under normal clothing.
